- Kate A. Mack considers herself first and foremost wife to her wonderful husband, Jim. She also considers herself Mommy to three four-legged kids: kitties Rocky, Aja, and Mick. As a High School English Teacher, Kate cultivates the emotional and academic climate for the future of our world. Outside of family and career, she is fanatical about dance, music, computers, and other gadgets, but most importantly, passionate about a variety of causes around which this blog focuses. Her own personal platform to "Dream Big and Do Good" allows Kate to devote time, talent, and funds to several community organizations, namely the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater PA and Southern WV, as well as groups and campaigns that support underprivileged youth, healthy childbirth options, animal welfare and conservation, cancer prevention/education and research for the cure, and LGBTQ equality, just to name a few. Most recently, Kate was appointed the advisor of her school's Gay-Straight Alliance, formally cited by the Pennsylvania State House of Representatives as an exceptional leader and role model, and licensed to teach Zumba fitness classes.
